Okay Then..

Where do you even start with an 'About me', do I add my ASL? No I'm joking, but I honestly can't think of anything in the world worse than talking about myself! In all honesty I'm about as exciting as a piece of bread, but my days I could talk about all things creative forever!

I'd be lying is I said I don't spend my spare time outside of family life hunting for fabric, textiles, trims, I even watched 'This Morning' the other day and couldn't help but thing how beautiful a ladies dress would be if it was made into a little romper. I live and breathe ideas for AGD, it's esentially my little esacpe. My place to just brain dump and go with the flow!

As an offset to that, I'm the first to admit I'm my own worst enemy, full of self doubt but constantly striving to do better! It's not often I look at a completed make and feel proud of it, I'm more likely to be proud of seeing photos of your children wearing my items before I realise it really was me who managed to make something so special!

My Creative Space...

If you follow me on Instagram you'll know that my sewing space at home resembles The Chokey, Miss Trunchbulls Chokey, or Harry Potters cupboard under the stairs!

We moved house before I figured how passionate I was for sewing, so mid renovation I was desperate to find any kind of space I could to make it my own. Anyhow heres a glimpse into how things look! Becauase if you're nosey like me you Rightmove your neighbours house when they go up for sale to see how they live, so heres my favourite room in the house, where I spend hours on end each evening bringing all of my creations to life!

AGD Custom Fabrics..

Or maybe I should have headed this one the AGD Bears. My little pride and joy, my very own custom illustrated fabric by the wonderfufl @JamiLayDesigns.

Alongside using Vintage fabics and textiles, I really loved the idea of building AGD it's own niche, it's own set of characters to be passed across numerous themes, this is where the fabric collection started and is currently at.

The first in the collection was the AGD Tea Party Teds, a vintage style Ted set out between teacups, honey jars, vintage prams.

Alongside the Tea Party Teds came the AGD Muted Ditsy, a little floral print that could break up the bears, or pretty enough to be used on it's own as an AGD Floral.

Then finally the AGD Fairy Bears, a little whimsical, wing wearing, secret garden vibe, again complimenting the muted ditsy to be layered and alternated with other fabrics.

I have Jami to thank for all of my illustrations and would absolutely reccomend checking out her instagram!
